Introverted leaders are great listeners and thinkers. They aren't shy people, just observant. They may need time to themselves after group interactions to recharge. Get the job done on time. May feel alone in a crowd, but love figuring solutions out to help people.
Introverts are often misunderstood by extroverts because they're different in their communication style and energy level. Introverts tend to be quiet, but they're not necessarily shy or meek. They prefer solitude over being with others, so they can spend hours alone reading or writing without feeling lonely.
Introverts make up about 40% of the population — 20% of men and 50% of women are introverts
People who identify as introverts process information internally rather than externally through other people or activities such as talking or watching TV. This means that introverts are more likely to initiate tasks rather than wait for them to happen around them. Introverts also tend to be deep thinkers who prefer predictability over spontaneity. They enjoy gathering information and analyzing data before making decisions or taking action. They might not share their ideas with others until they've fully developed them in their minds first — sometimes even waiting until an idea is finished before sharing it at all!
Introverted leaders may not be good at public speaking or networking with people they don’t know well, but they are able to manage those situations by preparing ahead of time and practicing so that they can deliver their message confidently and clearly without having to rely too much on what others think about them.
